Itinerary Description

Day 1 Welcome to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

We look forward to greeting you at Antônio Carlos Jobim International Airport (GIG), popularly known as Galeão.
A private driver and a bilingual Guide will welcome you and they will transfer you to your hotel in Copacabana. Located on the glamorous and world famous Copacabana Beach, the Sofitel hotel is next to Ipanema Beach and under the gaze of the Sugarloaf Mountain. Great location, consistent service and spacious beautiful rooms overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 2 Full Day Overview Tour of Rio de Janeiro  

This is a panoramic tour which will introduce you to a wide array of Rio de Janeiro neighborhoods, attractions and points of interest.
The morning starts with a trip to the Cosme Velho station, where you’ll catch the cog train. The train journey takes you through the dense Atlantic rain forest of Tijuca to the statue of Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado Mountain.
Your knowledgeable tour guide will answer all your questions and will show you the sights of Rio from this soaring mountain-top vantage point.

Day 3 Half Day Guanabara Bay Boat Tour and   Half Day Visit to Sugarloaf Mountain  

Explore Rio de Janeiro’s incredible coastline on this beautiful half-day Rio sailing tour. Navigate your way through the beautiful, tranquil and warm waters of Guanabara Bay and see a unique maritime view of Rio’s breath-taking coastline and exotic tropical islands.

Neighborhoods of Botafogo, Flamengo, Urca, Sugar Loaf, Fort São Joao, Flagstone Island, Santa Cruz Fortress, Rio-Niteroi Bridge and all other surrounding beauty are seen from a different perspective.

Day 4 Fly to Iguassu and explore Iguassu National Park (Brazilian side)  

After doing check out, your Guide and Driver will take you all to the airport so that you can take your flight to the city of Iguassu (IGU). The duration of the flight is 1 hour and 50 minutes.

Once in Iguassu, Brazil, your Bilingual guide will meet you at the airport and together with the licensed driver you will be driven to the National Park. You will do a private tour of the Brazilian National Park (Iguassu Falls on Brazilian side) to get a panoramic view of the falls. You will walk along the Brazilian walkway, which starts in front of Hotel das Cataratas and goes to Salto Floriano the heart of the sub-tropical jungle. At the end of this tour, you will be transferred to your Hotel located in Argentina. Your private bilingual guide will assist you with customs and migration formalities when crossing the border to Argentina.

Day 5 Full Day Guided Tour inside Iguazu    National Park (Argentina)  

Enjoy a captivating guided tour inside the Iguazu National Park (Argentina) and explore the parks’ two main trails: the Superior and the Inferior: the choice is between straddling the falls from above or coming up close to where the water cannons into rocks below – both beautiful viewpoints. This full day tour inside the Iguazu National Park includes the visit of the stunning Salto San Martin and the even vaster Devil’s Throat waterfall

Day 6  Fly to Buenos Aires City, Argentina  

After breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide and driver who will drive you to Iguazu National Airport (IGR).

We look forward to greeting you at the Aeroparque Jorge Newbery Airport (AEP). Your Guide will transfer you all to your hotel and do check in, then meet for a snack and introductions, and a review of your schedule.

Afternoon Activity: Introductory Walking Tour of Recoleta
You will walk along the nicest avenues, you will learn about the luxurious palaces and the story of the affluent families that owned them. We finish our itinerary in the Recoleta Cemetery to admire the Argentina´s greatest works of art and learn about the personalities that are buried in the most expensive lot of land in B.A

Day 7 Full Day Comprehensive Tour of Buenos Aires  

This comprehensive tour will give you an in depth view of the highlights and most important districts in town. You will tour in a comfortable SUV through Buenos Aires´ different neighbourhoods, stopping when you like to get a feel of each, to take photographs and to walk through a sampling of historic districts.

Main Attractions include: Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada, Congress Palace, 9 de Julio Avenue, Colon Opera house, La Boca, Caminito, Puerto Madero, Calatrava’s Bridge, Retiro, San Martin Park and Palermo neighborhood. * Palermo is the largest neighborhood of Buenos Aires and it is divided into three sub-districts: Green Parks, Palermo Soho and Palermo Holywood. You will cover them all in this comprehensive tour of Buenos Aires.

Day 9: Welcome to El Calafate, Patagonia  

Morning transfer to the Airport to take your flight to El Calafate.
Arrival at El Calafate Airport:
Meet and Greet at the airport. Private Transfer to your hotel in the town of El Calafate

El Calafate is the favorite town of southern Patagonia, chosen by European travelers thanks to its proximity to the remarkable Perito Moreno glacier. Located in Los Glaciares National Park, Perito Moreno is breathtakingly beautiful. It is 5 km wide and towers 60 metres above the Arentine Lake. Together with Iguazu Falls, the Perito Moreno Glacier is definitely one of the natural wonders of the world.

Afternoon: At leisure. It is the perfect afternoon to explore the town of El Calafate on foot.

Day 10: Private Full Day tour at Los Glaciares National Park  

Experience the most breathtaking attraction in Argentina’s Patagonia on a full-day tour inside Los Glaciares National Park, where exceptional walking trails with the best views of Perito Moreno Glacier await.
You will be met by your bilingual guide and a driver who will transfer you both to the unique glacial scenery of Los Glaciares National Park, an area of exceptional natural beauty and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Just before Perito Moreno, you’ll discover a coastal walking trail alongside the Iceberg Channel, branches of Lago Argentino and Lago Viedma.
Upon arrival, the excursion takes you on a cruise across Brazo Rico, passing beside icebergs, which have calved off the south front of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Reaching the Icebergs Channel, the boat will stop at a safe distance from the glacier, continuing to sail down its entire front, allowing spectacular view of the high wall of ice. The excursion lasts one hour and provides a totally different perspective of the Perito Moreno Glacier, with almost constant falling walls of ice from its front.

In the afternoon, you will visit the new walkways and special view points which allow you to have different panoramic vistas of the Perito Moreno Glacier.

Day 11: Day 11 Fly to Bariloche  

Private transfer from your hotel in El Calafate to the airport to take flight to Bariloche
Arrival in Bariloche Airport. Private airport transfer to your hotel in Bariloche; Licensed Driver and Tour guide will greet you at the airport and they will take you to your hotel in Bariloche.

Day 12: Private Introductory Scenic Tour of Bariloche and surrounding areas  

Meet your Bilingual guide and your driver to start this introductory scenic tour of the lake district.
The scenic route offers views of lake Nahuel Huapi and gorgeous mountains and lagoons around Bariloche. The interesting sights along the route is the scenic overlook Punto Panoramico, village Colonia Suiza, the luxurious hotel Llao Llao, and the nice homes on Peninsula San Pedro. 
Taking the Teleferico (automated lift) up to the top you can find of Cerro Campanario, you will enjoy majestic 360° views of the surrounding lakes and Monte Tronador.

Day 13: Half Day Tour to Myrtle Woods and Victoria Island  

This lake excursion first brings you to Puerto Anchorena on Victoria Island, where the different paths will take you through the beautiful and solitary surroundings. You'll see a bed of conifer trees, a local species of evergreen, and take a ride on a ski lift to the summit of the Cerro Bella along a narrow stretch of coihue and cypress trees. You'll board the boat again and ride along the enormous lake until we arrive at the Quetrihue Peninsula, where we'll find The Bosque de Arrayanes (The Myrtle Forest).

These myrtle trees rarely grow in cold weather climates and are a highlight of this region. The Parque Nacional Bosque Arrayanes is home to the only two arrayán forests in the world (although the arrayán can be found throughout this region, including in Chile), one of which can be visited at the tip of Península Quetrihué. This fascinating bush grows as high as 20m (66 ft.) and to the untrained eye looks like a tree, with slick cinnamon-colored trunks that are cool to the touch. They are especially beautiful in the spring and summer when in bloom.

Day 14: Bariloche to Puerto Varas: The Adean Crossing  

08.30 am: Departure from your hotel in Bariloche to Puerto Panuelo Port. On the way, you can marvel of the beautiful swiss style architecture that characterizes the constructions of the area, with beautiful gardens and flowers that dresses the place up to Puerto Pañuelo where we embark on the catamaran "Victoria Andina" or "Victoria Del Lago" to navigate the Nahuel Huapi Lake for an hour to Puerto Blest.

10.00 am: We set sail from Puerto Pañuelo to Puerto Blest where, during a journey of 15 miles, you will be able to observe the magnificence of the Andean landscape, the green of the rainforests that surround us, birds that become one of us and learn more about the fascinating history of this place.

11.10 am: Arrival to Puerto Blest. Here modern busses will be waiting for you to travel for 1.8 miles along the Frías River up to Puerto Alegre. Then we will continue on the “Ciudad de la Fé” ship, to navigate de Felix Frías Lake with its quiet and unspoilt waters of deep turquoise color heading to Puerto Frías. On this tour, we will have beautiful views of the Tronador Mountain 11.453 ft of height. After a short navigation of 20 minutes approximately, you will arrive to Puerto Frías, a small location inserted in the middle of exuberant vegetation. After performing the departure formalities at the Argentinian Customs Office located in Puerto Frias, we continue by bus to Peulla. We will appreciate the lush vegetation of the Cordillera de Los Andes, as we watched the Cerro Tronador with its nine glaciers on its peak.

2:00 pm: You will enter the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park where Peulla is located. After performing the entry formalities for Chile in Peulla, transfer to Hotel Peulla and Hotel Natura Patagonia. Time for lunch. (Lunch not included).

4:00 pm. We will set sail for Petrohué, navigating the Todos los Santos Lake. If the weather permits new views of Osorno and Puntiagudo Volcano and Tronador mount will surprise you.

5:30 pm. Continuation toward Puerto Varas. On route we will visit the Petrohué waterfalls (Does not include entry), whimsical shapes of volcanic rock, bathed by green waterfalls make the perfect picture. Next, bordering the Llanquihue Lake, breathtaking views of the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes dominate the landscape.

7:00 pm Arrival to Puerto Varas and transfer to your Hotel in Puerto Varas

Day 15: Fly to Santiago de Chile  

Private Transportation to Puerto Montt or Frutillar to do a half day tour of Puerto Montt.

Puerto Montt - at the southernmost end of Chile's Lake District -- is set among lakes, fjords and rivers, and nestled at the foot of snow-capped mountains. After the morning tour, you will be transferred to Puerto Montt’s airport to take flight to Santiago de Chile.

Day 16: Welcome to Santiago de Chile  

Meet your guide this morning and embark on a city tour that offers a complete look at Santiago’s most important areas along with beautiful panoramic views. A short ride brings you to the Mercado Central and a chance to view the colorful local marketplace before taking a short walk to Plaza de Armas, the city’s most famous square. Tour the beautiful surrounding buildings, including the impressive Metropolitan Cathedral. Nearby visit the Museum of pre-Hispanic Art and afterward continue to the administrative part of the city where you see Palacio de Moneda Presidential Palace. Ride like the local Santiaguinos on their famed metro subway from the Plaza de Armas to the Fine Arts Museum built in the neo-classical style. In the afternoon, depart the city for a private visit to the local wine country.

Visit Viñas Undurraga and savor Chile's exquisite wines.
